I think we are very unlucky to have 2 open DP spots and a fairly substantial overhaul otherwise in Covid Year 2. In times of stress people are wary of risks and big changes. They get very conservative in their life choices, and moving to another continent is a much bigger change than between countries within Europe or SA. I think we will continue to have trouble recruiting foreign targets, for reasons unrelated to our team, coach, staff, etc. I also think it is not entirely related to the specifics of how Covid has played out in the US. Which is not to say those issues don't exist, but this is something separate, and real. I think right now we can much more easily convince someone from the CONCACAF region to come than we can from anywhere else.
