I can't tell if it's a joke or not but judging the ability of all players of a nation based on a single one would mean Alphonso Davies never signs for Bayern, Pulisic never signs for Dortmund, McKennie never signs for Juve, etc.

The big question will be how many of our roster holes we will be filling with guys like this and Amundsen vs. dipping into our deep DP and AM resources. Even if we sign a couple of DPs in the Mitrita type range, we still have the flexibility for some serious second tier talent rather than low value players like this. This would not be a good start unless we just coincidentally are signing the bench first.

He is potentially the Maxi replacement. Give him a year to acclimate and then he’s the regular starter in 22

Some interesting details on the new young player initiative. Everything in this league has to be so complicated.

Multiple sources said that the current expectation is that teams will be allowed to sign either one or up to three players under the U-22 initiative, depending on the number and age of their current DPs. Teams that have three DPs who are all over the age of 23 and ineligible to be bought off DP status with TAM will only be allowed to sign one player under the U-22 initiative. Teams with at least one DP who is 23 or younger or one of any age who can be bought down with TAM will be able to sign up to three players under the U-22 initiative. Essentially, clubs that are all-in on bringing in high-priced, older DPs won’t be able to take as much advantage of the U-22 initiative as clubs that have already sprinkled at least one younger or cheaper DP into the mix.

Sources expect that current MLS players will be allowed to be grandfathered into the designation as long as they meet the qualifications for eligibility.

Absolutely. If this is one of our major additions for the season, there is reason for concern. If this is a guy who we're hoping to develop and there's more coming, then hopefully we'll be in decent shape this season. Still around 60 days to the start of the regular season, so there's plenty of time to see what else David Lee has up his sleeve.

Lol like what you want people to do? Complain? Twitter is filled with that (here too). Stop buying Season tickets? STH been going down for years. Stop buying merchandise ? I know damn well we are not top 10 in that category either.

I mean if you started at say 10K at 2015 then went down to like 4K by 2018 and in 2019 year of the email it went up to 5K STH he is not technically lying but compared to the start its still at a big loss. ( im making up those numbers btw i in no shape or form know what actual numbers are)

unless those flex 5 game ticket packs count as STH? Which im sure many liked.
