Authentic Jersey

Adidas MLS stuff (and there NBA stuff) always feels cheap, doesn't mater if it is authentic or not.
Pretty much. I'm just compared my authentic Quakes jersey from last year to my authentic home NYCFC and found that the material used with the quakes jersey to be much softer and just nicer all around. Was hoping that the away would be more like my Quakes jersey.

Alright FINAL complaint and then I'm letting it go haha

I've noticed that a lot of other jerseys have a feature on the back of the neck. Most of the ones that I have seen have a raised, rubbery marking. Like this one on the RSL jersey:

But it looks like the NYC marking on the neck of our away jersey is just a flat, heat pressed sticker like the nameset. What's the deal??

My guess is that since this detail is on the authentic, which the players wear, they want it to be as light as possible. The thick rubber is heavier.

Notwithstanding my issues when I ordered the home jersey from NYCFC, I bit the bullet and ordered an authentic long sleeved away jersey customized with 10 and mix. Just arrived. And part of the number arrived partially peeled off. Good times. Not to mention the application of the numbers elsewhere looks very shoddy. WTF.

I mean, I get that idea. But that amount of weight has to be completely negligible...

Jeez... that really sucks.
My drycleaner and an iron seems to have saved the day! Figured it was worth a shot given the likely delay of getting a replacement, and they were able to activate the adhesive with the heat. Not what you would want to have to do with a new $200 jersey, but it thankfully worked. Hopefully no one else will have that issue, but if you do, all hope is not lost.

Update: Just made my rounds of calls and the Adidas store in SoHo, and Upper 90 in Brooklyn and Long Island don't have the away jersey, and none of them know when they're getting them. This is just silly.

I don't get why they're holding the away jersey back. At least that's what it seems like. It's been out of stock for over a week now. I'd prefer not to get the long sleeve as I live in Florida. But I've been checking day in and day out and still nothing. Hopefully if all else fails they sell them at the stadium or are restocked in the city when I come up for the game.

Not sure what's going on. When the home came out you could find it in many places right away. The two NYCFC twitter accounts haven't even responded to my tweets. It's like they're avoiding it.

I still haven't received mine from the initial pre-order on the official website so there's definitely something going on...

I'm gonna end up just getting a short sleeved replica and hate myself for settling.
I feel the same way. I can live with waiting past the season opener since I'll be watching at a bar anyway but I have to have be wearing a jersey when we're in Yankee stadium
