Next two games will be played away. Our first game will be at RFK against a struggling DC United who have yet to find the back of the net and lost 4-0 to us in March.

Matchday
Kickoff - Saturday 04/08 at 4pm
Broadcast - UniMas and WFAN (Online)

Gotta be happy with where we are at this point. 2 wins and a draw/loss that we should have got more out of.
7 goals scored and only 3 conceded. Only teams with less are Orlando with 1 (2 games played) and Toronto with 2.

When was the last time we played well at that POS stadium?

They can't defend us but we also can't slow down a guy like Acosta with Pirlo manning the 6. I could see a 4-2 type of match. Key for us is getting the first one on the board because that will open them up. They're just bad looking this season.

If DC doesn't win tonight, they're going to come out overly tight and desperate. Add that their defense is not looking good and we could hit them on the counter very early. Do that and the flood gates could likely open again (not saying they will, but we'd get the chances to convert).

Not many away games are games that we should absolutely get 3 points in, but this one (and Philadelphia following) we really should get 3 points. I expect against one of them we will drop 2 points, but D.C. and Philly are really teams we are so far superior too

Our schedule is about to get a lot tougher after April too. We need points now.

In May, we have seven games in less than 30 days, Dallas once and Atlanta twice, and four straight on the road.

If we can manage to get 10+ points out of our five games in April (we have 3 already counting vSJE, so 7 points from our next 4 games), we will be sitting on 14+ points through 8 games entering that stretch.

I count 6 games in May total. Are you counting the June 3 game to get 7 in 30? That works. Valid point either way. Really the tough stretch begins April 30 in Columbus I think. Easiest way to get 7 from the next 4 is to get them from the next 3.
By the time we get to New England at home on May 31, the toughest bit of schedule could be behind the team. Only 2 of the next 9 are at home starting now.

A much better choice. Might also use WFAN for audio and turn down the television. Their pre-game interviews with Vieira are very good.
Don't they employ Glenn Crooks?

Interview notwithstanding, I don't think 2 hours of him without Rojas and Abramowitz to reel him in when he goes full moron would be tolerable.

True indeed but we always have trouble at RFK. Their pitch is atrocious and I think we've only won there once.
