Extra 50ml bottles needed. And hand/feet warmers.
Sunday may be my first chance to use the waterproof/fleece blanket at a game.
I've just bought two pairs of smart wool socks, UA thermals, and some hand warmers for the missus. I've already got a -20 rated parka and a inaugural scarf that I imagine will be wrapped round my neck and face for much of the game. I took an inadvertent shoulder to the throat during a pickup match last weekend and I need to stay fairly quiet and keep it out of the cold so it actually continues to heal (least pleasant experience of my life—and I've torn the ACL in both knees, mind).
Sad day that I can't shout and sing as I normally would.
Hopefully the snow will be light enough not to collect.
Who cares if you can't shout or sing, the important question is whether you can still drink? Rum or whiskey to warm the soul.
The day I'm not able to imbibe will be the day I need to be imbibed.

Expect the same exact lineup. PV is going to focus on the positives. Possession, shots etc and claim we won the game in every aspect but the score line. Don't see him making changes. He wasn't a changes guy last year and he won't be this year. Certainly not after just 1 game.
If he replaces Khiry Shelton with any player who has both of his feet in the right spot, we will have a late scoring ability!
One early question is whether DC mid Luciano Acosta is going to be available. He was an unexpected scratch in their home draw against SKC this weekend, and he is listed as day-to-day.
Top one. Or Wallace - Villa - Maxi across the front, with Harrison coming off the bench at any attacking spot.
I think the greatest complement to his perfromance is that we're 4 pages in and he just came up.
Here's something to bitch about...why do we wear neon green? Okay, Bendick wore black, so that leaves hot pink red, neon green, and light blue. Can't wear the red, can't wear the light blue...make more colors adidas!
What's wrong with neon green and why can't we wear red?

Bah, who cares. It's a keeper kit. Red Bulls and Cosmos both have had blue secondary jerseys.
Or who can head the ball back across the six to a wide open teammate for a tap in. Or shoot it first touch. Soccer IQ and soccer skill fail.
My lineup of what I'd like to see on Sunday. Pretty much equal with what I wanted to see week 1.
Team played well overall but obviously need to finish. I'm still keeping Callens in, as I'm in the camp this last goal we conceded was more on RJ's mishandling than anything. RJ needs to play better overall but he still stays in. Wallace and Ring both had decent games but still want to see the pace of Camargo and technical skills of Herrera.

Johansen, Ugo, Brillant, Wallace, Ring, Tmac, Shelton.
When Lewis becomes available he takes Shelton's spot.
