I believe this was covered earlier, but has the actual true game time been moved to 5pm (from 5:15 or so)? Since they never told the truth before I don't know how to check it now.

Get the feeling this match is an "event" in the football industry generally, and in the US soccer circles in particular. All kinds of players, ex-players, and coaches will be there.

sigh....it was such a bad idea to put a NYC team in MLS when we already had the Redbulls. What was Garber and the other owners thinking????????

Man, this would be good to know definitively since I am sure folks are used to having that 20 min cushion before the game actually starts. Could be some missing the kickoff if everything is accelerated 20 minutes. Thanks for raising.

Yea, with the 30 minute pregame at 430, they will probably put all of the ceremonial stuff in that window and have a firm kickoff, save maybe for a couple of minutes.

My wife had to go to family thing and will be here back here around noon and we will be leaving right away. I've had my jersey and scarf on for about two hours already, so yeah....i'm getting antsy!!
 
i may have 2 tickets section 405 mid field available if anyone needs them. I had some last minute cancellation. NYCFC fans only of course.
 
I hope there are a lot of redbulls fans in the BX today. They can see what a real team in New York looks like. They can shed that Jersey red and come over to the New York blue. As for the Redbulls being sold eventually; they're not just going to sell redbull arena. It is a great stadium. Whomever buys the team will continue to have them play there. That franchise should just embrace New Jersey. Get their hooks out of my New York peers.
 
Anyone here still need a ticket? I apparently got my wife sick, and she can't go. Free to any forum members of mediocre or better repute.
 
Does anyone have experience bringing in a DSLR camera? I want to bring mine in with a wide angle prime (non-zoom) lens. Want to make sure I don't get turned back at the door!

I've been wondering the same thing because the language about "mono/tripods and other professional camera equipment" being prohibited. But I have definitely seen guys in the stadium (including in/around the supporters sections) with DSLR's, with larger/faster telephoto sports lens than mine. So I think you should be fine
