Matarrita Deal Finalized?

The four year deal is big, because it spreads the transfer fee thinner. If he's on salary of $200k and the fee is $500k, that's only a cap hit of $325k per year. No TAM necessary.

EDIT: Report was updated to say we are only paying $300k for him, plus a sell-on fee. Huge win. His cap hit is probably only around $300k.

Yup, details still coming out but 4 year deal for $300k with the sell-on clause. Trying to figure out how much he'll be earning but either way it shouldn't cost us any TAM.

Can anyone answer this question regarding sell-on clauses? Does that just pertain to the contract that he has with NYCFC now? For example, if this contract ran out and we resigned him to a new one, then sold him; would the sell-on clause still be in effect?

Or does this vary from clause to clause and we don't know those details yet?
