Honest question, can we even beat Chicago?
Season 3 Episode 23 GIF by The Simpsons

Anything is possible but watching NYCFC struggle vs. Miami and then Chicago easily handle Miami a few days later I can't see why anyone would consider us the favorite in this matchup.
Game in Chicago vs game in Miami almost impossible to compare. But Chicago does seem to have a bit more bounce in their step lately. Very streaky team.

And since Messi played last night in South America, no way he makes the roster for tonight's match. He said he would play for Miami again this season, but that's on turf at Charlotte.

Right. He's not playing tonight at home. He did announce he would play the last game. So, Miami has one home game without Messi and one road game with Messi. That's probably enough to give us hope that they can at least draw each game... and enough hope to feel shitty once they don't.

30 minutes in, and I'm still wondering how such a poor team is our competition for the last playoff spot...

Charlotte takes the lead 2-1. Part of me is rooting for Charlotte to put us out of our misery now. So I don’t go into Saturday with any foolish hope… And then have it crushed by some event in some other game

The grim reaper is approaching ... It would be such an epic failure for this organization to arrogance themselves into missing the playoffs. It would be very Yankee-like.

But it's also completely deserved for leaving the roster half-filled for 66% of the season.

An equalizer by Inter Miami, 2-2.

Keep Decision Day exciting, please.
