Nycfc Training Fields Thread

Headed over to the Training Ground again this afternoon.
I was told they will be laying sod (yes, sod) down the first week of December. Despite some bumps in the road with weather, they are AHEAD of schedule in finishing the trianing ground. The guys doing the work are working 7 days a week to get this done.

Elizabeth Robertson, Director of Government Relations and the Executive Assistant to the President of SUNY Purchase told EOS, “They are taking over some space of ours we are currently not using and they are creating a lockerooom, meeting room and all-purpose rooms.”

You will be able to watch the workouts from the adjacent field. It's pretty open.the guy from Land Tek told me that it wont be used until March, so most likly the team will be overseas o down south before that
