they should have used old footage of a bustling NYC with that motto... an empty NYC doesn't seem like it's hustling anywhere ...

Something like this would have been cool. Hey, NYCFC Digital Team!

(Highly recommend the show which aired on HBO in 2010-2011)

Loved that show. Great cast with Kid Cudi!

Nice piece there, though I wish they would have spoken to Lee about the offseason at large. Maybe we'll get a second story about that in the next day or two.

And the article got it right that this is a strategic move in anticipation of his leaving. It's good business. He's a great kid and it will be fun to watch his career when he does.

As long as he can put in a solid season without anymore serious injuries! he'd be in europe already if not for broken bones all over. kid needs more calcium!

NOTE: To stream the YES Network on your device, you will need to be a YES subscriber through a participating cable/video provider.

So nothing really changes.

didnt fox sports go have lots of issues though? i never used it but i thought that was the main complaint.

Big streaming news here. Our games are going on the new YES App! No more FOX Sports GO.

As Lion said - nothing really changes. still need a regular cable subscription (i.e., no streaming service). Also, it is brand new, so there is absolutely no guarantee it will work any better than FSG did. it might even be worse...

ESPN+ and VPN for me!

It looks to be a better designed app, but from what I recall the issues with Fox Sports Go were that people have trouble signing in (or unclear about cable subscription compatibility) and that the match wouldn't appear much closer to kickoff. We'll see how that plays out when NYCFC has to use the Yes Network app to broadcast matches.

Don't like that I had to create a YES Network account to log into the app and then register with my cable subscription.
