If Lampard really going to MC for the year, drop that $387k DP hit to $158k for 1/2 year player.

it won't be half the MLS season. That's what matters, right?

If it's only a 6 month loan w/ Lampard returning for NYCFC 's opening debut, yes $387.5k. But if he stays at MC all season he'll miss 1/2 of MLS season, less hit on cap.

While I think they have exemptions if loaning to another club with shared ownership, do clubs get any cap bonus for loaning players overseas during the offseason? The MLS year I believe goes along with a standard calender, so if we have any players on loan in January would we benefit?
