Damn, Ronny. David Lee is going to be rubbing tire marks off his shirt for days after that one. Goodness. Tell us how you really feel.
Depth? The starting 11 isn't even good enough now. LB? LW? Striker?
Starting lineup is fine. There is a weakness in the XI at left back, but the starting wingers are Medina and Tajouri-Shradi. That's fine. Could be better and needs to be better, but the XI isn't the problem. We do, however, need to bring in another 3-5 starting-caliber players. Mainly in the attacking roles.
Taty isn't a good lone striker.
Ronny's response could mean one of two things:
1) CFG/Davie Lee have a plan for signing the players and Ronny was not involved or informed of it. Even though I am not high on Ronny as a head coach, he should be intimately involved in signing players to play in his system. So, if this is the case, major fail by the FO.
2) Ronny is involved and/or informed of the plan to sign players, and he's simply just stating the status of the squad right now as he sees it.. and bluntly so.
medina is no winger. he's slow and is not a 1v1 specialist. I think Jasson could play as a winger as we know he likes to take on players. But, I have a feeling Ronny is not going to play him until he is forced to (i.e., injuries). Personally, my biggest concern is at LWB. Gudi is slow and non-remarkable going forward. Really hoping Malte at least gives us some pace and more effort than Gudi (even after bitching about not getting enough PT).

oh it’s total ass covering from our schmuck coach. We agree. But how do you allow your coach to say that ? How ignorant is he?
you’re essentially telling your fan AAs, short of some major moves in the next 6 weeks, that you haven’t fielded a competitive team this season.
Also kind of sucks if you're on the roster already.
im always #Deilaout but i dont see it as insulting to the current players. its true , we dont have a full squad and have holes to fill. Ring and mata are gone and we also had striker issues and need a maxi backup from last year. the team struggled last year and the players there ( minus the academy kids) are aware that new players are needed to help.
he didnt need to say this as we all knew this already. the team is not complete at all and its gonna suck until the summer.
and they left. thats my issue you bring names and you get fans but you dont win and they leave. i mean the past few winners have not had big world known names so its not needed to win just good scouting and impact players. of course that being said our FO is not capable of doing that either but i dont want a name just to have a name if its not leading to silverwear
