How about that change in the forecast?!

I think this year might be our most unpredictable in terms of lineups. So many guys can slot in anywhere. We just need to make sure we get it all put together and allow for some cohesion.

Join us for the 2017 Home Opener vs D.C. United:
  • 12:30pm – Yankee Stadium gates open to the general public.
    • The first 5,000 fans in attendance will receive a NYCFC magnetic schedule courtesy of Etihad Airways.
    • Stop by Gate 2 to get your game face on with free hair and face painting provided by Face Art by Melissa. This area will be open from doors until the start of the 2nd half.
  • 1:00pm – Stop by the corner of 161st St. and River Ave. before entering the stadium for a pregame performance by City Beats until 1:30.
  • 1:20pm – Your Boys in Blue take to the pitch for warmups.
  • 1:50pm – Be in your seats as pregame ceremonies begin and we announce the Starting XI.
  • 2:00pm – Have your scarves ready as the Tunnel of Honor leads New York City’s Starting XI onto the pitch for the first time in 2017.
  • 2:03pm – Join Tony Award Nominee and Brooklyn-native, Constantine Maroulis in the singing of the Star Spangled Banner. Our Nation’s Colors will be presented by the FDNY Ceremonial Unit.
  • Halftime – NYCFC’s own, City Beats will provide the halftime entertainment for the day.
  • Postgame – Stop by the corner of 161st and River Ave. once again on your way home for City Beats’ postgame performance
I just find it funny that the broadcast at the bottom of the link says ESPN. That hasn't changed in months even dating back to games last season. Hey intern, may want to fix that...

"The first 5,000 fans in attendance will receive a NYCFC magnetic schedule courtesy of Etihad Airways." They couldn't have thrown one of these in the season ticket holder boxes? Would have easily been the nicest thing in there.

Yeah, and only 5,000 seems very low. It's a magnetic schedule, one of the cheapest giveaways. How much are they paying Constantine Maroulis to sing the national anthem?

Appears we're skipping two days again before training. Unless they're doing a night session tonight.
Then media day is on Thursday. So another half day or no training.
Seems a bit odd.

Glad you pointed that out, seemed weird to me too. But yeah a few players have been doing media today, I know Villa and Matarrita have.

With a short time together in preseason I figured they'd be training more often than they have. Did they stop sending out the weekly training schedule this year? Haven't received one yet.

Yeah, RJ said double sessions on Wednesday and Thursday and single sessions on Friday and Saturday on the Soccer Joy YouTube video.
