Just got my ticket decided to go in 111 with the supporters. Figured if there's going to be so few people there should be right where whatever atmosphere there will be, will be.
I think it is. When I broke mine I just RICEd it at first which was a massive mistake. My recovery time went from what would of been like 2 weeks to 3 months in a boot.

More info in here on the health of the players. Mata looks to also be available for Saturday.
Also, goes a little more in depth on Chanot, but thats a different thread
Same. Snagged a field seat since they were at a decent rate for founding members. When we have a stadium, we'll look back on this match and crack a smile. Hoping we win, because a three hour drive back to the city after a loss will be brutal.Just got my ticket decided to go in 111 with the supporters. I love you Villa but...

Current Status on Injuries.
- Camargo - out for season
- Chanot - early-to-mid October (originally 6-8 weeks from surgery on August 21, which is Oct 2-16)
- Herrera - apparently doubtful for Saturday vs. Houston (was considered "day-to-day" originally)
- Ring - could be back Saturday vs. Houston (was questionable against Colorado; trained Wednesday)
- Matarrita - could be back Saturday vs. Houston (originally 3-4 months from June 30 (i.e. October); recent news says he is ready)
- Lopez - should be back Saturday vs. Houston (originally 3-4 weeks from August 29; recent news says he is ready)
- White - should be back Saturday vs. Houston (originally 4 weeks from August 29; recent news says he is ready)
- Villa - played off the bench against Colorado and should be ready to start vs. Houston
I don't disagree that that is a likely lineup, but I really hope that Ring is available to take Pirlo's place. He hasn't been out long, so if he is available, I would hope he starts and should be able to go 60-70 minutes. What's interesting with all the guys coming back is the bench could get mighty full. I don't think any of the 3-4 guys coming off injury are going to start given all the time they had off, so our Starting XI should be pretty close to the last game (but with Villa added). But, if all those guys make the bench, it could be hard to fit others who also deserve a spot.
Important to remember too that we are starting 3 games in 8 days, so we will need some rotation. Working in the injured guys should be good for that.

Bench: JLew, Hey Matarrita!, Enter Sandman, Hey Mikey!, Keyser Soze, Norris, Lurch
Ring and Sands in the midfield with Maxi. If Sands hasn't reported to the U17 squad yet, then it's in order to play him - I'd like to think it's as a starter and not as a sub.I don't disagree that that is a likely lineup, but I really hope that Ring is available to take Pirlo's place. Just very worried seeing Pirlo as the base of the midfield (with support from TMac) vs the Houston counter

He showed more composure, hustle, and ball security than any of the backup midfieldersDo we agree that Sands showed, in 15 minutes, that he is a better mdifield option than Lopez?
we play better in 9 men than 11 with lopezDo we agree that Sands showed, in 15 minutes, that he is a better mdifield option than Lopez?
