Matarrita Deal Finalized?

Tomorrow is a bank holiday here in the US.

Maybe because I'm actually working tomorrow (although from home) that this didn't come to mind

That's just one of their writers and it's written as 'Report' and a 'rumor.' Not an official MLS announcement story.

I find it rather weird the official league Twitter does this, not for this still ongoing transfer but for every rumor involving an MLS team.

Your an official league Twitter don't mention it until it's official

awesome awesome awesome, the exact type of player we need. Now just need NYCFC and MLS to actually confirm it. Blogs, players twitter and foreign clubs are nice but its not official in my mind.

I've always found the league site posting rumors and shit like that really minor league, amateur shit.
Then you must hate the NFL, MLB, NHL and NBA sites, because they all do it. Otherwise they would be useless outlets for press releases.

Highlights from a game v DCU. He's big but quick as well. Looks like he enjoys getting up the field and isn't shy about taking shots.

so he has experience playing MLS sides, which i think its good. So the style wont be too much of a shock for him.

maybe because i dont actually go to their official sites, but i think they have seperate twitter accounts for their rumors and free agent talk, not the actual official twitter. that or they have some insider like ken rosenthal tweet something then they may retweet so its not technically them.

This is also a league that promoted the fact that Mario Lopez was donning LAFC gear. The "small" nature of it creates a sense of community and access opportunities that you would never get in the big four leagues, but it is always going to be a mixed bag.

They retweet a lot of stuff from players, even the low and mid tier ones too. It's definitely more community that professional league on social media. Look at the SuperDraft, there's not a lot of hoopla on the stage and location compared to the other leagues.

The word you are looking for is accessible. It's one of MLS's biggest selling points. The league itself is aware of that and promotes it. But then you have the MLSperts who are just auto-felating shitheads.

He is looking forward to playing in New York, as he understands he is going up to New York to meet his teammates, then he is going with the team to (as we call it in Spanish) the florida for preseason. he also says in another interview that he knows it's New York the expectation is to win. He wants to win.

Close. But he definitely said the word Friday. :)

Just kidding, thanks for the full translation.
