What do all 3 have in common compared to the targets we go after?
We're targeting Euros verses the other ones you mentioned being South American. USA is much more attractive to South Americans than it is for European based players still in their prime, IMO
It's pretty disappointing tbh. I'm biased in this case because I'm not a fan of Legia at all, but it would appear the player just wanted to stay to thank the team that took a chance on him, signed him on a free transfer and gave him a chance in the Champions League.
Lots of players make it known the want to come here when negotiating with other teams. And they probably aren't lying to Vieira when he asks them, but at the end of the day they just happen to want to go some place else more.
