yes, based on some audio clips done of interviews with argentina podcasts he has left the "door open" to join teams in argentina for 2022 as he says his contract ends at the end of 2021.
I had a dream last night where Heber was back and we were playing against what was probably TFC (red jersey). I guess TFC didn't have enough players so Taty and Tinnerholm were playing for TFC. (this part ofthe dream came from my daughters rec. league)
Taty and Tinerholm both scored.
Heber hadn't at the point I woke up.
Did everyone on both teams form a big hug circle and jump up and down when they scored?
I didn't realize so many people were down on Maxi this year.
i know people still hate the guy since the day he signed lol. i still have hope that he can contribute even though age and injuries have clearly caught up to him.
Not down on him. Just down on his availability for his coveted DP slot
I was down on him his first year. I think he’s met his DP status and expectations since. Last year he was injured and didn’t want to be here. This year, he’s already injured.
i feel like his level of passion/dedication to the team has dropped significantly after the covid times. being away from family and such put a toll on him, i think. plus age, injuries, he just doesn't seem like the same player. he still has moments of magic, but he's not the same player. still think he is important to our success, just not as important as he used to be.
is this something you heard? because here is the only place this was mentioned.
his family is here with him at least his wife and kids, at least that is what i seen. as for his importance i disagree, we still lack good buildup and past two games showed that, there were some good passes here and there from cacha, taty / medina? to create but i dont think its up there in quality to what maxi sees can do.
that may change with talles, ( santi if he comes) but as of now i am not convinced that you can rely less on maxi's play.
our build up play with maxi is and can be more fun to watch and more creative yes. but our level of success has not suffered as greatly has it has in the past. that's the point I'm trying to make. we might not look as good without maxi, but we can be just as successful. in the past, if maxi were out, we'd be clueless and losing.
i disagree we draw instead of getting wins. i think there was a long time where we only won one game without maxi. the past two games we have not won ( the orlando game to me had L written all over it and escaped with a draw) so there is still something missing with the attack. If we had a backup 10 or someone playing that role its fine but we really dont. It gets frustrating that the offense keeps being send to the wing and then cross to the middle and then goes no where. no one really has command of sending pass thru the middle.
i understand maxi not performing as good as before, but until new signings can show that we can have variety of options moving towards opponents goal we still depend on the guy.
I would presume as much. I don't think he was a fan of leaving his family and being away from them for so long, as well as playing for Ronny early on.
im sure that was difficult but i dont think that translates to him not wanting to be in nyc? he was away from his family during those months so yea i see him not being happy in the bubble.
