Only thing better than soccer in a baseball stadium is college football at a baseball stadium.
Michigan visits Northwestern at Wrigley Field starting now!

I have no idea how the field is configured today, but back in the day when the Bears played there the steps of the 1st base dugout were actually in the end zone. If I can find a picture I'll post it.

Jordan Marshall scored an apparent touchdown on the first drive that was undone by a holding penalty. But he did the home run swing celebration first.

They played at Wrigley a few years ago and basically couldn't use one end zone because it was too close to the wall. The team with possession could only play one way, they'd flip the teams around at every turnover/possession change.

That was, well, something.
I'm choosing to believe that when you still win despite a -5 turnover score and 2 missed field goals it means you're good?

At halftime one of the panel announcers noted that the walls were just a few feet behind the back of the end zones. He thought it affected how teams attacked in the red zone because they were afraid of running a receiver into a brick wall.

Had jury duty yesterday.
First, I was assigned to civil court on Sutphin Boulevard instead of criminal on Queens Boulevard. The facilities are nicer, the neighborhood has more useful lunch options, and the process is more pleasant overall.
Second, they called 3 panels by 2pm, leaving about 40-50 remaining potential jurors including me, enough for at most one more panel. But at 2:50pm the staffer announced there would be no more trials starting on the day so we were all dismissed with full credit for service.
Best and easiest jury service ever. I also watched more hours of The Game Show Network yesterday than in the rest of my life combined.
