Ok good. Then you know Taty couldn’t convert his chances then.
If you want to say that Taty’s one goal as a striker is to you know, … scores goals or convert chances, then you can argue he was streaky at times. But to say that the golden boot winner is not good seems more like a farce to me. Plus the amount of work Taty puts into every game that may not end up in the back of goal whether it’s hold up play, creative passing, transition play, or ball retention is also important.
He can't convert well. But yet he still scores a lot. And, as JCMore said, it's his off-the-ball and physicality that really bring him up a level. This is why I think we need to try him (if he stays next year) in a two-striker system, with the other in a more poacher type of role, and Taty as a target man or false 9 to help distract defenses and hold the ball while the other players, and crucially that other striker, move in around him. I think Taty/Heber pairing needs to be re-looked at.
