Would be a stupid move for any reason other than Ian being in so much demand that he is upping his price.
Why would they do that?
When did he do that? I must have missed it.Not surprised. He spoke out about the Yankees and their leadership. Now Levine wants him gone.
He did a segment either pregame or halftime shortly after the reports came out about the breakdown in talks over parking spaces. I honestly don't remember what he said or how direct it was. When did he do that? I must have missed it.
I remember that, but it was very pro-Yankees, telling everyone to call the city and the city is holding everything back.He did a segment either pregame or halftime shortly after the reports came out about the breakdown in talks over parking spaces. I’m hearing that @YESNetwork and @nycfc are thinking of not bringing back @JOYPAULIAN to work the booth this season. This is probably the biggest mistake this team is making since the Lampard fiasco. Ian has been a part of this club as long as anyone including myself. #nycfc

Like I said, I don't even remember what he said, but that's the only time he came close to addressing it I know of. Maybe Kjbert can shed light on his statementI remember that, but it was very pro-Yankees, telling everyone to call the city and the city is holding everything back.
That's why I'm a bit curious as to where he may have had negative comments about the Yankees management.
Sanchez is hardly anonymous and has been a NYCFC fan presence online for years. But, I also don't consider him very reliable.I'm smelling bullshit on this. He was on one of the podcasts hyping the season last night. Don't believe everything you read from an anonymous Twitter poster.

Fair -- I know who he is, but he's not someone I'd rely on for information. Until someone reliable reports something, I wouldn't put much stock into this.
He said last night on our show that he’s not sure what’s happening this year. And with it being this close to the start of the season, that’s not a good sign. Last year we heard the Yes schedule a week before the first game.
