Official Nycfc In The Media Thread 2015

I think Bleacher Report's coverage of NYC is going to be an ongoing problem. They gave us a C+, granted their opinion of us and $2.50 will get you on the train (yikes, I remember when my Dad would say that and it was only $1.25). It seems like whenever they write anything about our club it is 90% negative (they actually covered other teams' signings, but pretty much only talk about Lampard in ours). We are definitely going to have to prove ourselves on the pitch, because we are starting out as the most hated franchise...and our PR and fan services team isn't attempting to make our lives remotely easy.

I know that there may be Knicks fans here but it looks like we should all thumb through a copy of Reggie Miller's autobiography "I Love Being the Enemy".
In waiting for the day these 'reporters' and 'media' start asking me for an opinion when we're winning. They'll get a proper send off.

Would love to read all the teams on there, hate bleacher report format

Man, MLS on Twitter has been one big circlejerk

Well when you read the Bleacher Report analysis of the roster it's quite positive. They like our strikers, call the midfielders experienced, and keepers formidable. They also say, "The only weakness for NYCFC is center back."

Then they give the club a C+. It seems to be clearly a downgrade based on the Lampard deception, and I have no problem with that. Take away the Lampard fiasco and I think the grade would have been B+ or even in the A range.
