Same here. I kept quiet after St. Mirren because all I wanted to say was negative - not about the team but everyone's over-reaction. There's a tendency in sport to assume that whatever happened in the last 3 games - or just the last game even - will go on forever. It never does. Even when the season comes, we can start 5-1 or 1-5 and end up with a completely opposite outcome for the entire season.Same here, and for both outcomes. I thought people were too optimistic about the teams performance against St. Mirren. Yes, we saw a lot of great things in that game, but some folks were already handing them the MLS Cup. One step at a time. I think it's good that they looked bad today, and got a nice schoolin'. It brings everyone back to earth and makes the players see that they have a lot of talent, but they still need to do some work to be a top team.
