It is interesting that this article about MLS in New York, which sought to recap briefly our town's soccer history, saw no need even to mention the Metrostars / Red Bulls. This reflects the fact that that team has very little relevance to soccer fans in New York.

I have been trying to add NYCFC updates to Google now every so often over the past year, but it always said team not found. So this morning I noticed it gave me an option to follow the team. Minor news but cool if you like Google now

It has the scores from our games, but if you click the team name nothing happens and we can't be added to the favorite teams list.
